The 5 Bronze Saints who are the heroes of this ever-popular series are Pegasus Seiya, Cygnus Hyoga, Dragon Shiryu, Andromeda Shun and Phoenix Ikki. They protect the goddess Athena who has been reincarnated in Saori Kido. Their very first battle, in the anime, took place in Sanctuary, where they had to face the 12 Gold Saints, minus Sagittarius Aioros (who is dead) and Gemini Saga (who, possessed by Hades, has convinced everyone in Sanctuary he is the real Pope). The Bronze Saints will then fight an arduous fight, in the Asgard series, against Hilda and her God Warriors. The last fight of the anime, that against Poseidon, took place underwater.

There were also 4 anime movies produced for Saint Seiya. In the first feature, our Saints will go against Eris, the evil goddess of Discord, who has kidnapped Athena, and fight her Ghost Saints. In the second feature, there's trouble in Asgard and Hyoga, who is there on a friend's demand, decides to go and investigate. His companions, not hearing about him for quite a while, begin to worry about him decide to go to Asgard themselves. The master of Asgard, Dorubar, tells Athena he knows nothing of her missing Saint, but sends out his God Warriors to go look for him; it seems there is a certain hostility between Bronze Saints and God Warriors, the latter looking menacing. One of them particularly, Midgard, intrigues Shiryu. The Bronze Saint will later find out that Midgard is really Hyoga! He first figures Hyoga took on the Midgard identity to mix better with Dorubar's troops, but then discovers his friend is seemingly under the enemy's control as Hyoga freezes his right arm! A heated battle ensues, and Shiryu finally knocks Hyoga against a mountainside, himself collapsing a few moments later. Meanwhile, Frey, a young man who is unaware of Dorubar's evil doing, questions him, and as a result ends up in the dungeon. Athena then questions Dorubar and is placed in statis on the statue that overlooks Asgard. Her Saints, now out to look for Hyoga, change their search upon sensing their goddess is in trouble. Hyoga arrives and is seemingly in his right mind once more... Frey who has been able to free himself and escape tells Seiya he will free Athena while Pegasus, now wearing the Sagittarius Cloth, kills Dorubar. Unfortunately, Frey dies because of this, though everything else ends well, a tree growing in place of the destroyed statue. In the third feature, the god Abel, Athena's brother, wants to release the divine flows once more to purify the Earth of the evil humans have infected it with... Athena first fakes to follow Abel's ambitions, while Seiya gets thorougly beaten up and humiliated as he wants to protect Athena despite her orders to the contrary, only to reveal it was a trick to try to beat him herself. Unfortunately, he strikes her deathly and she is dying. Her soul reaches out to her Saints, who have meanwhile each scattered to their own homes, to tell them of her crisis. The Saints go after Saori and face Abel's warriors, succeeding in saving Athena. In the fourth feature, the evil god Lucifer wants to reign over our mortal world with evil. The Saints, who are injured trying to stop him, are horrified to learn Saori will try to go up to his temple alone, and they are unaware that Athena agreed to sacrifice herself if Lucifer would spare the world. They go to Lucifer and manage to defeat him after great difficulty.

This section is dedicated, as you can see, to the movie of opening Pegasus Fantasy, which is 15MB large and excellent quality, which is why it is such a large file. This movie was made by Arias so any credit for it should be given to him.
